New building construction at the National Tennis Center located directly adjacent to Arthur Ashe Stadium in Flushing Meadows. Underlying compressible soil layer required the excavation of approximately 6 feet of existing soil and replacement with a 4 ft layer of FGA and the waffle slab for the new building. Utilities for the new building were placed within FGA layer.
