• Chevy Chase Contractors used UL-FGA as lightweight subbase for a new concrete sidewalk at the Exelon Building Central Plaza in the Harbor Point waterfront area of Baltimore.  

• The Central Plaza was constructed over a parking garage for the adjacent 23-story Exelon building, special consideration was given to all construction materials used in the Central Plaza green space in order to minimize load on the underground structure.  

• At the time of certification, Exelon’s Baltimore headquarters was the fourth-largest LEED ID+C platinum-certified project in the United States.

• The building was constructed on the former site of the Allied Signal Baltimore Works facility.
