• Concrete slabs designed with an underlying 3-foot-thick layer of ultra-lightweight foamed glass aggregate also acting as a drainage and insulation material.

• Foundation soils consisted of soft, compressible material

• Contractor was able to self-perform all associated with foamed glass fill work
